Sanitation and Water Resources Minister receives delegation from Coalition of Unemployed Graduates of Schools of Hygiene

The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah on Friday , September 18, 2020 granted audience to a four member delegation of Coalition of Unemployed Graduates of the Schools of Hygiene who have now been employed by government.

The delegation was at the office of the sector Minister to expressed their gratitude to the sector Minister for her personal intervention and involvement which has enabled them to secure employment after their graduation since 2010.

In all, 1,174 of the graduates have now been employed by government.

The sector Minister Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah thanked them for the visit and urged them to do their best wherever they find themselves posted to.

She asked the graduates to be committed and always see their glasses as half full instead of half empty.
She reminded them that they are the future leaders of the Country.

Hon Cecilia Abena Dapaah noted that it is a privilege for one to work for the progress of the country and as such should be grateful for the opportunity offered them.

She said the government will continue to provide the needed resources to the Schools of Hygiene for effective teaching and learning .

The sector Minister also commended the Ministry of Finance for the financial clearance which paved the way for the graduates to be employed

Miss Alice Frimpomah who spoke on behalf of the graduates thanked the Minister for the reception and promised they would give off their best.

Present at the meeting was the Chief Director Noah Tumfo.

Also present were the Director of the Environmental Health and Sanitation Directorate of the Ministry Anthony Mensah and his deputy Kweku Quansah.
