NEW $100M WASH STRATEGY LAUNCHED IN GHANA

 

The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Hon. Freda Akosua Prempeh together with the United States Ambassador to Ghana, H.E. Virginia Palmer, have launched the U.S. Global Water Strategy High Priority Country Plan for Ghana.

The plan by USAID which will invest approximately $100 million in Ghana’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Sector over the next five years, is an addition to the $89 million that has already been invested since 2009.
