The Minister for Sanitation and Water Resources, Hon. Dr. Freda Akosua Prempeh has paid a working visit to kpone Landfill site and Weija Water Treatment Plant to abreast herself with the situation at the two sites.
At the Weija Water Treatment Plant, the Sector Minister was presented with the level of encroachment by the Residents around the treatment plant and she used the occasion to warn the encroachers to desist from building close to the dam or risk being prosecuted.
Dr. Freda Prempeh also expressed satisfaction at the progress of work done so far at the Kpone landfill site and encouraged the engineers to continue with the good work for a successful completion of the project.
